This position leads the planning and execution of integrated marketing strategies that span awareness, demand generation, and customer engagement. Acting as the strategic connector between regional marketing, global teams, and sales, you will deliver impactful campaigns that attract new customers, deepen relationships, and strengthen AVEVA’s brand in Japan. Marketing Strategy & Planning Develop and execute Japan’s marketing strategy aligned with global and market priorities. Localize campaigns, messaging, and content to ensure cultural and market relevance. Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights to inform planning. Demand Generation & Pipeline Growth Design and run integrated campaigns targeting new accounts and existing customers (for cross-sell) in prioritize industries using digital, paid media, webinars, content syndication, industry partnership. Partner with sales and lead development teams to optimize lead follow-up and conversion. Manage local SEO/SEM and website localization in collaboration with global teams. Brand Awareness & Communications Execute local brand awareness programs aligned with global PR and analyst relations strategies. Drive thought leadership initiatives and amplify global content locally. Manage social media and influencer engagement to increase share of voice and engagement. Customer Engagement & Retention Implement Account-Based Marketing (ABM) programs targeting strategic accounts. Develop advocacy and referral programs to strengthen customer trust and influence. Build and nurture user communities to foster collaboration and loyalty. Events & Local Activation Plan and deliver impactful events, including roundtables, webinars, tradeshows, and conferences. Integrate digital and field activations to enhance awareness and engagement. Measurement & Optimization Track and report on KPIs across awareness, demand, and engagement. Continuously refine campaigns using data-driven insights and market intelligence. Important Working Relationships Market Sales and Technical Teams Regional and Global Marketing Teams inclusive of Lead Development Team in market Brand, PR, and Communications Content and Digital Marketing Ecosystem Marketing Portfolio and Industry Marketing Sales and Marketing Operations Required Skills & Experience Experience in B2B marketing, ideally in technology or industrial sectors. Proven ability to use AI tools for marketing, content generation, and performance optimization Experience in demand generation, communications, and customer marketing. Good understanding of digital marketing, analytics, and campaign optimization. Hands-on experience with ABM, PR, social media, and thought leadership programs. Familiarity with marketing automation (e.g., Marketo), CRM (e.g., Salesforce), and analytics tools. Exceptional communication skills and ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders. Collaborative, adaptable, and thrives in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
