Job Summary: The Project Specialists within UCAH deal heavily with project coordination, tracking, reporting, and documentation. The successful candidate for this role must be highly detail-oriented, process driven, and comfortable managing multiple deliverables within a deadline-driven environment, along with having strong independent quality control. All levels of this position – I, II, and III – will be directly involved with projects and their analytic, and event duties – such as those listed in the What is helpful and KSA sections – will be required in support of UCAH and ensuring successful completion of the current projects. Responsibilities: Project Specialist I: Participates in program and project development, disseminates project information, and serves as an active participant in project related work groups and committees. Assists in providing recommendations to achieve goals. Assists with the planning, developing, implementation, and evaluation of programs and projects. Assists in developing project budgets and preparing contracts. May manage budget for small projects or components of large programs under the direction of program director. Coordinates project activities, collaborates with project team members, assists in the development of measurable project goals and objectives, and monitors progress toward achievement. Prepares agendas for meetings, documents key decisions, and collaborates with team members to develop project collateral. Assists in writing and disseminates work plans and project documents to include procedures, proposals, progress reports, and presentations. Performs other related duties as assigned. Project Specialist II: All previous responsibilities of the Project Specialist I position, plus Provides recommendations to achieve program and project goals. Plans, develops, implements, and evaluates programs and projects. Develops project budgets and prepares contracts. May manage budget for small to medium projects or components of large programs under the direction of program director. Coordinates project activities, collaborates with project team members, assists in the development of measurable project goals and objectives, and monitors progress toward achievement. Writes and disseminates work plans and project documents to include procedures, proposals, progress reports, and presentations. Project Specialist III: All previous responsibilities from the Project Specialist I and II positions, plus Performs advanced program and project development, disseminates project information, and serves as an active participant in project related work groups and committees. Provides recommendations to achieve goals. Plans, develops, implements, and evaluates programs and projects. Develops project budgets and prepares contracts. Manages budgets for project or program. Develops measurable project goals and objectives, and monitors progress toward achievement. Prepares agendas for meetings, documents key decisions, and collaborates with team members to develop project collateral. Develops and disseminates work plans and project documents to include procedures, proposals, progress reports, and presentations. Develops and prepares training and operational manuals. What we need: Project Specialist I: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience with no prior experience. Project Specialist II: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience and one year of related experience in project management. Project Specialist III: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience and two years of related experience in project management.
