Job Title Assistant Professor of Practice, Communication Sciences & Disorders Agency Texas A&M University - Kingsville Department Department of Clinical Health Sciences Proposed Minimum Salary Commensurate Job Location Kingsville, Texas Job Type Faculty Job Description The Department of Clinical Health Sciences is seeking an experienced Clinical Instructor to join our accredited program in Communication Sciences & Disorders at Texas A & M University-Kingsville.  We are located in historic Kingsville, TX home of the legendary King Ranch and Kingsville- Naval Air Station. Our South Texas location is near the Gulf coast - Corpus Christi area, with beaches, birding, and fishing. For more information about the university please visit our website at http://www.tamuk.edu/about/index.html   The rank, Assistant Professor of Practice, is for a 9-month non-tenure track position with summer teaching possible/optional. The successful applicant will be expected to supervise/instruct graduate student clinicians in the on-campus clinic and possibly some local community outreaches, teach courses in the undergraduate and/or graduate program in CSDO and provide service to the university and profession.   Minimum Qualifications:    ·       Texas SLP Licensure or eligible to obtain Texas Licensure   ·       Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology  ·       Three years of experience post CCC  ·       MS or MA in Communication Sciences & Disorders    Consideration will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled.   Salary is commensurate with qualifications.
