Join the adventure to invent and implement Industry 4.0 @ Airbus! In this context, you will join the production system efficiency tema at Illescas Plant for Industrial System Design and Modelling . Within this department, we define, develop and mature industrial solutions to address Aircraft programme challenges (deliver on-time and quality, reduce development and production lead time, cost of Product & Process development & all recurring costs). We provide New Processes , Methods and Tools (including Design, Modelling and Simulation) to improve and predict our industrial performance . We work in close link with transnacional ISE functions , collaborating on industrial projects and new Processes, Methods & Tools. Your Impact : You will be a catalyst of Change within a local team of Lean & Industrial ISEs to change the ways of working of the Industrial Community. This position will allow you to be a Key Driver of Airbus Industrial Strategy at Illescas plant with high influence on legacy programs and also the Factory of the Future . You will be directly involved in R&T and industrial projects and contribute to the design of the future Airbus industrial systems, to boost our industrial performance. You will join an 8 people team with high performance and different impact areas (values stream mappings, methods time measurements, manufacturing routings,...) You will be part of an international community within Airbus industrial system engineers. You will work in different industrial environments , legacy and future manufacturing lines. The principle responsibilities of the role can be summarized as follows : You will contribute to Industrial System Design of Airbus at Illescas plant for future and existing Programs You will support Key industrialization projects with Manufacturing Line Design skills and competences to ensure project outcomes are delivering tangible benefits and long term performance You will evaluate and challenge current and future industrial solutions and give recommendations to Industrial Architects through our innovative digital capabilities You will Develop Manufacturing Line Design ways of working to answer the business priorities. You will increase knowledge and autonomy with the main tools design for flow and ergonomy simulations. Your Boarding Pass : Strong background in Manufacturing or Industrial / Manufacturing Engineering with deep knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles . Operational experience in the Implementation and Optimization of Industrial Systems (Conception phase, Qualification, Implementation, Management of Production Processes). Proven experience in Industrialization and Shop - Floor execution Solid knowledge of Industrial Performance Management . Autonomy and ability to influence , lead the Change and deal with transformation processes in an international environment.
