Job Description: Airbus Operations in Hamburg is looking for two Procurement Contract Experts (d/f/m). You will join a team of 18 contracts managers located in France, UK, Germany and Portugal, supporting three  Procurement commodities ( Equipment & Systems, Cabin and Propulsion) working for all Airbus European programs. You will work on a cross-functional and cross-country basis.  We as a team are providing contractual expertise to buyers in the negotiation of procurement agreements (confidentiality agreement, bailment agreement, complex financial deals, settlement agreements etc), through direct involvement with suppliers and/or back-office support. Your location You will be working at the largest production site for civil aircraft situated in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe includes the option to commute by ferry. Ensuring the relevance, quality and consistency of negotiated contractual documents, including compliance with applicable laws, regulations and Airbus business requirements Identifying key contractual risks for review / validation with stakeholders Contributing to defining ways of working, tools, business models, contract templates Actively involved in the definition of new business models and commodity strategies Developing new and / or enhancing existing training and awareness Coaching and on-the-job upskilling to grow contractual competences within Procurement Desired skills and qualifications Legal background or experienced buyer / experienced contract negotiator (in either procurement or sales) Several years of relevant work experience Open-minded, self-motivated, team-player Can Do” attitude and enjoy finding solutions to contractual issues / challenges Customer oriented, able to break-down and explain complex topics to a variety of stakeholders Pragmatic, able to balance contractual and business risks, priorities, oversights and compliance; securing Airbus interests and derisking business Willing to take on big and small tasks, ranging from operational support to strategic projects English fluent; other languages would be a plus This role will involve some occasional travel for business and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.   This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company’s success, reputation and sustainable growth.
