Job Description: In order to support the “Cross Programme Management Office in Connected Intelligence”, Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a Working Student (d/f/m) - Cross Programme Management Are you a highly motivated student (d/f/m) eager to gain hands-on experience in strategic coordination, governance, and oversight of critical programs? This position must not be confused with an internship or with the possibility of writing a final thesis. This employment usually takes place directly on the company's premises. A working student's main focus remains on their studies, which is why, during term-time, working students are not allowed to work more than 20 hours per week. Working students therefore usually work near their place of study, so as to conveniently combine studying and employment. Your tasks and responsibilities Your role will offer deep insights into strategic program execution, governance, and cross-functional coordination. Your main tasks will include: PMO Support & Governance: Actively supporting the Program Management Office (PMO) in developing, maintaining, and standardizing program processes, tools, and documentation across various projects. Program Monitoring & Reporting: Assisting in the preparation of regular program status reports, KPIs, and decision-making presentations for senior management and various stakeholder levels. Coordination & Communication: Supporting the coordination of cross-functional team meetings, workshops, and steering committees, ensuring clear and efficient communication flow. Tool Management: Maintaining and updating key data in our program management tools (e.g., Unified Planning, AD Project, Qlik Dashboard…) to ensure accurate program visibility and control. Risk & Change Management: Supporting the tracking and documentation of program risks, issues, and change requests. Strategic Initiatives: Taking on specific project tasks to support strategic initiatives aimed at improving program efficiency and effectiveness within Connected Intelligence.  Desired skills and qualifications You are currently full-time enrolled in a higher education institution and preparing for a degree (Bachelor or Master level, preferably 3rd semester or higher) in one of the following fields: Project Management, Business Administration, Wirtschaftinformatik, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a similar field of study. Interest in PM/Governance: Strong interest in Programme/Project Management, PMO activities, and strategic business coordination. Digital Proficiency: Very good knowledge of G-Suite (especially Sheets and Slides) and preferably initial experience with common PMO/Agile tools (e.g., Unified Planning, AD Project, Qlik Dashboard…). Analytical Skills: High affinity for numbers, data analysis, and the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely. Soft Skills: You are a dedicated team player, possess excellent communication skills, and are able to manage tasks accurately and independently. Integrity: Discretion and a strong focus on data accuracy are mandatory.
