The Multiple Engineering Specializations position has responsibility for more than one Specialization within their group. A Senior Manager (M4) position typically manages a department or small unit that includes multiple teams led by managers and/or team leaders. Problems faced are often complex and require extensive investigation and analysis. This position requires the ability to influence others to accept practices and approaches, and the ability to communicate and influence executive leadership on a regular basis. Responsibilities Develops and ensures adoption of short to mid-term strategy/results and execution of functional strategy for the operational direction of the department Oversees continuous improvement/automation implementation activities Leverages institutional knowledge for strategy development Supports relationships through strong communication and negotiation skills with internal and external stakeholders Influences, coaches, and develops direct reports/teams.
