The successful candidate is expected to report to their assigned GM worksite, five days per week and to respond to the site in the event of an emergency after hours, on weekend or holidays. The Role: In this position, you will support the effective use of personnel, material, and equipment and participate in training and developing of salaried and hourly employees, and in the development of highly effective teams. You will support Global Manufacturing Systems (GMS) processes across multiple departments and serves as a resource supporting launch and pilot activities in assigned areas while helping to meet or exceed production cost schedule and maintains quality requirements. What You’ll Do: Support Functional Leader in the organization and running of the business (staff meetings, special assignments, etc.) Execute the portfolio/business planning process Manage and plan assignments along with priority goals and requirements in the preparation of difficult projects Develop and maintain the project business cases (deliverables, benefits, timing) Analyze execution of Functional initiatives versus the Functional Business plan Interpret complex quantitative and qualitative data and recommend solutions to unusual problems Manages budgets Execute the Functional competitive assessment process Collect and analyze key operating metrics for the group Handle a variety of special assignments Develop and conduct presentations for all levels of management Manage Associate Business Planners Manage Departmental Manpower Attend Assigned Basketweaves Maintain HCC Manage shopping carts for department Lead throughput initiatives through Power BI and CI Grievance management. Your Skills and Abilities (Required Qualifications): Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience  5+ years of manufacturing experience, vehicle systems preferred  3+ years of people leader experience  Working knowledge of the UAW national agreement  Must be willing to rotate shifts What Can Give You a Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications): Experience/knowledge of GM Global Manufacturing System (GMS) This position may be eligible for relocation benefits
