Job Description Work Arrangement This role is categorized as onsite. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to our Pasadena Design Studio, 600 Sierra Madre Villa Avenue, Pasadena, CA 91107, on a full-time basis. Summary The Facilities Leader in Pasadena will be responsible for overseeing the efficient and safe operation of all facility building systems at our Pasadena location, ensuring a productive and well-maintained environment for all occupants. Responsibilities Manage and direct the daily operations, maintenance, and repair of all facility building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire suppression, and building automation systems. Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to optimize system performance, extend asset lifespan, and minimize downtime. Lead and supervise a team of facilities technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations. Oversee vendor relationships and contracts for facility-related services, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality of service. Manage facility budgets, track expenditures, and identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to building codes, safety, and environmental standards. Respond promptly to facility emergencies and develop contingency plans to minimize disruptions. Collaborate with other departments to support their facility needs and planned projects. Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions. Maintain accurate records of facility maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections. Qualifications 5+ years of experience. Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred. Proven experience in managing complex facility building systems. Strong understanding of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building automation systems. Demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of interacting effectively with all levels of staff and external vendors. Proficiency in facilities management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices (e.g., OSHA, NFPA). Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively. Relevant certifications (e.g., CFM, FMP) are a plus. Compensation: The compensation information is a good faith estimate only. It is based on what a successful applicant might be paid in accordance with applicable state laws. The actual base salary a successful candidate will be offered within this range will vary based on factors relevant to the position, as well as geography of the selected candidate.        • The salary range for this role is $94,300 to $150,500 . The actual base salary a successful candidate will be offered within this range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.        • Bonus Potential: An incentive pay program offers payouts based on company performance, job level, and individual performance.
