Job Title: Server Engineer II Job Description Requirements & Responsibilities Advanced English Speaker. Associate's degree or equivalent from a 3-year college or technical school or equivalent training. 3 to 5 years of Server Support Experience with at least 5 of IT Technical Experience Certifications: MCSE or MS Technology, VMware or similar certification(s), ITIL, Other technical certification. Senior Server Administrator with knowledge on Components like, AD, DNS, DHCP, WSUS, WDS and others Perform patch compliance activities on Windows server and Windows application as per IT Security calendar. Perform remediation of gaps found on TCP / IP Scanning for Vulnerability Activity as per IT Security calendar. Perform closure of non-compliant settings on Security Health check, Compliance Check activity as per IT Security calendar. Experience with Software and Configuration management Senior Server Administrator with strong Datacenter experience on server knowledge on Raid Group 1/0/5/6, datacenter maintenance checklists. Hands on Experience on Hardware Monitoring tool like, Dell OM, xclarity Remote Datacenter Administration Worked on Datacenter Inventory tool Like Device42 Hands on with miscellaneous system admin duties. Should be able to plan and execute new implementations with documentations Maintain Documentation and Change Management Report, Documentation, SOP Preparation. Scripting – PowerShell, Script, BAT and other Complete all assigned, mandatory training within the timeframe provided. Conduct and/or participate in regularly scheduled 1:1 meetings with your direct manager and/or direct reports. Mandatory Skills Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, PKI, ADFS and Windows Server Management Domain upgrade, domain migration, configuring and troubleshooting replications Active directory: configured and maintained Active directory, DNS, DHCP and Group Policy Clustering and Redundancy for DNS and DHCP Server OS 2016 /2019 / 2022 Scripting – Powershell, VBscript, batch scripting Assess Active Directory such as ADRAS or ADRAP Active Directory Backup Configuring, managing and maintaining Backup Server using NT backup, Rubrik Compliance Perform patch compliance activities on Windows server and Windows application as per IT Security calendar using tools such as Bigfix. Perform remediation of VA gaps found as per scans from as IT Security Team. Perform closure of non-compliant settings on Security Health check, Compliance Check activity as per IT Security calendar. Perform ID Revalidation (Privileged Group Domain IDs, Privileged IDs, System IDs (Windows and Domino ID's), VPN IDs, Middleware/ Application IDs as per IT Security calendar. Perform assessment of patch releases to analyze impact and deployment strategies Physical Server Installation, configuration, maintenance and troubleshoot from vendors such Lenovo, IBM, HP, Nutanix and Dell Knowledge on Raid Group 0/1/10/5/6 Knowledge on datacenter maintenance & health checklist and DCIM tools like Device42. Remote Administration using iLO, Dell OM, Xclarity or similar tools. Able to understand logs and provide appropriate solution and RCA Clustering & HA of enterprise platform such as SQL, Hyper V, File cluster and other technologies. Migration of Windows Servers from Current OS version to Higher Version. Build a PoC model to design solution to test functionality of the platform Filer server Implementation, management, and Migration File Server Resource Manager, Permission inheritance, Disk Compression & Deduplication Plan, Installation, Upgrade and Migration with documentation of software / Hardware Handle Incidents and escalations Open Sources Technologies Datacenter Automation such as Scripting, PowerShell, VB Script, ansible and others Vmware / Hyper-v Perform VM vMotion, Storage vMotion, Add/Remove Memory or any other Hardware resources on the VM Install or upgrade Vmtools, upgrade hardware version on the VM Taking, Deleting and reverting snapshots of the VM Add ESX host to maintenance during any scheduled activities Perform other daily operations on VMware infrastructure Installation and configuration of new Datacenter in Vmware Add Storage to VMware – SAN, iSCSI and NFS Creating Hyper-V cluster with shared disk Upgrade Vmware hosts.
