Job Title: Senior Accountant Job Description We’re looking for an experienced Senior Accountant (7–8 years) to join our finance team and take ownership of core accounting, tax, and audit functions. Key Responsibilities Review monthly GL reconciliations with sub-ledgers and detailed supporting schedules Manage activities for AR, AP, intercompany, Bank, and fixed assets. Responsible for GL entries, month end adjustments, including payroll entries. Manage month end closing and ensure timely close Responsible of balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy and high quality. Ensure compliance with company policies and standard financial controls Coach and support team members on daily accounting tasks Lead and coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants Coordinate with tax consultants for timely preparation and filing of CIT, VAT, and WHT statutory returns Support additional tasks as assigned by the Accounting Manager Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in accounting Minimum 7–8 years of experience in public accounting and/or private industry Strong technical accounting background with solid knowledge of IFRS and GAAP Experience working with multiple entities across the region. Strong understanding of financial reporting Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel Skills Strong analytical skills with clear understanding of IFRS vs GAAP Practical knowledge of internal controls, financial controls, and business processes Experience managing large-scale projects, including coordination with internal and external auditors High attention to detail and accuracy Ability to analyze regulatory and compliance requirements Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment Location: JOR Amman - 1 Rafiq Al Hariri Ave, Edgo Building, Abdali Boulevard, Amman, Jordan  Language Requirements: English Time Type: Full time If you are a California resident, by submitting your information, you acknowledge that you have read and have access to the Job Applicant Privacy Notice for California Residents
