ERM is seeking a   BD Manage r   with strong technical and strategic experience in sustainability to join our consulting team i n   M onterrey .   The Business Development Manager serves as the operational engine for market generation by building and   maintaining   a structured pipeline across the various market segments in the market defined by ERM. This role involves producing high-quality account intelligence and accelerating proposal development for digital sustainability and disclosure-related programs. The position is focused on commercial execution, including research, outreach coordination, CRM rigor and discipline, proposal drafting, and   pursuit   management.    While this role requires a solid understanding of sustainability consulting to qualify opportunities and support credible proposals, it does not   need deep   technical   expertise .   Responsibilities:   Pipeline   Generation &   Operations, account intelligence:   Build and continuously update the target account list, including opportunities, contacts, business updates, and   a relationship   matrix.   Track and   monitor   market signals that create demand, such as disclosure deadlines, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), nearshoring, global trade compliance pressures, and platform evaluations.   Maintain the   single source   of truth in the CRM by keeping it updated.   Prequalify opportunities that arise from word of mouth, media, local associations, or commercial partnerships.   Prepare meeting   briefs for Partners and Sales Leaders.   Lead and take responsibility for the entire proposal production workflow.   Reduce cycle time and improve conversion rates by standardizing reusable content and templates derived from local projects and   leveraging   global ERM capabilities, including regional service leads and global delivery centers.   Marketing and business development:   Support networking and commercial activities with local and regional associations. Generate leads and lead the follow up cadence and conversion tracking   Coordinate small and targeted events only when they are tied to   pipeline outcomes.     Support targeted outbound campaigns tied to concrete local offers.    Requirements :   Bachelor’s degree in Communications , Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or related fields.   4 –7 years of professional experience in business development,   proposal management, sales operations, consulting commercial support,   comm u nications.   Demonstrated experience coordinating and producing commercial propositions / RFP responses with multiple contributors under deadlines.   Proven   track record   in   networking and stakeholder engagement .   Ability to coordinate cross-functional initiatives and events.   Must have knowledge:   ESG reporting /disclosure pressures, climate/energy/technology topics at a basic level, how to sell sustainability programs   Ability to learn rapidly and translate technical input into client ready proposal language   On writing and document production skills   CRM   proficiency , strong   powerpoint   and word skills    Basic use of AI in commercial support.   Strong communication   skills in English and Spanish.    Who We Are:   As the largest global pure play sustainability consultancy, we partner with the world’s leading organizations, creating innovative solutions to sustainability challenges and unlocking commercial opportunities that meet the needs of today while preserving opportunity for future generations.   Our diverse team of world-class experts supports clients across the breadth of their organizations to operationalize sustainability, underpinned by our deep technical expertise in addressing their environmental, health, safety, risk and social issues.
