We welcome candidates with experience as a strategy or operations consultant who have led multiple projects as a project manager. In this position, you will work closely with both domestic and global clients, collaborating with ERM’s international teams to deliver a wide range of consulting services—from strategy development to execution support. Key Responsibilities Lead consulting projects in the sustainability and energy transition domains Support clients in strategic planning (business strategy, decarbonization strategy, energy optimization, etc.) Identify client issues, propose improvement measures, and develop solutions Manage stakeholder engagement and communication Develop presentations and reports using PowerPoint, and design/facilitate workshops Drive joint projects with global teams, including communication and reporting in English Provide recommendations and implementation support for energy-related topics (efficiency, optimization, risk management, etc.) Coach and develop junior consultants, and review deliverables Required Qualifications Experience as a strategy or operations consultant Proven project management experience across multiple projects Experience supporting clients in the energy sector or related fields Strong interest and passion for sustainability, energy transition, and energy efficiency Proficiency in PowerPoint and presentation development Core consulting skills (problem-solving, analytics, logical writing and communication skills) Native-level Japanese proficiency Ability to read, write, and communicate in English (for global collaboration) Preferred Qualifications Deep expertise in the energy domain Project experience in sustainability, energy transition, or decarbonization (Net Zero) strategy development Ideal Candidate Profile Highly proactive and committed to continuous skill development Able to communicate effectively and build strong client relationships Comfortable working independently while also valuing teamwork Strong sense of mission toward social and environmental issues Highly motivated and eager to learn and grow Able to provide “hands-on” client support, including onsite engagement when needed Flexible thinker with strong agility and adaptability
