Job Description: Intervenant de milieu (Gouvernail)   Objectifs :            Assister les résidents à se prendre en main afin d’améliorer leur situation personnelle −santé, revenu, soutien communautaire, logement− et les accompagner dans leur processus de réinsertion sociale. Assurer le bon fonctionnement de tous les aspects du service. Supporter la mission du Centre Booth et de l’Armée du Salut et veiller à ce que les politiques et les procédures du Centre Booth et de l’Armée du Salut soient respectés.   Compétences :            Diplôme d’études collégiales en travail social ou équivalent Expérience en intervention communautaire, plus particulièrement auprès des hommes en difficulté Bilinguisme (français et anglais) Détenir un permis de conduire valide, un atout Connaissance de base des logiciels « Word » et « Excel » Intérêt particulier à l’endroit des hommes itinérants Capacité à gérer des crises et à travailler avec une clientèle diversifiée Sens de l’organisation, initiative, dynamisme Cours de   secourisme   en milieu de travail pour le maintien de l’emploi   En plus de leur formation générale, à la demande de son superviseur, l’intervenant doit suivre les formations suivantes : Formation Oméga Évaluation du risque suicidaire Autres formations éventuelles.   Supérieur hiérarchique :             Responsable du Gouvernail   Responsabilités relatives au service :   Procéder à l’admission des demandes d’hébergement au Gouvernail en collaboration avec le/la responsable du service; Mettre sur pied un plan d’intervention individ   Compensation: The target hiring range for this position is $20.54 to $25.67 with a maximum of $30.81. Placement in the salary range will be based on factors such as market conditions, internal equity, and candidate experience, skills, and qualifications relevant to the role.
