Role Overview Job Title: Sr Business Project Manager Department: FIT4 Hub (APAC) Reports to: Head of Business Process Excellence (APAC hub) Position Summary The Senior Business Project Manager is a key leadership position within the SAP S/4HANA implementation team. This role is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, Responsibilities: • Project Leadership and Execution: Lead the planning and implementation of project facets from initiation to closure. Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders. Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents. • Stakeholder Management: Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion. Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis and establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors. • Resource and Budget Management: Draft and submit budget proposals and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary. Manage project budgeting and forecasting with a focus on delivering projects within the approved expenditures. • Risk Management: Identify and manage project risks, planning for potential scenarios and devising contingency plans. Ensure project risks are mitigated and escalate issues as necessary. • Quality Assurance: Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and comply with relevant regulations and standards. Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs. • Reporting: Track project milestones and deliverables. Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations. Required Knowledge & Experience At least 10 years of experience in project management, including significant experience with ERP systems, and at least 5 years focused on SAP S/4HANA Implementation. Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is good to have. Experience leading/matrix managing cross-functional and multicultural teams. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to navigate complex organizational structures and manage multiple stakeholders. Company Overview ZEISS is technology and innovation.
