To learn more about CIBC, please visit CIBC.com What you'll be doing The HR Advisory team provides strategic advice and proactive support to our business partners to advance business strategies, leadership, and cultural imperatives at CIBC. As an HR Director, you will directly support the People, Culture and Talent (PCT) group by: Translating business needs into integrated HR solutions  and Leading HR programs for the business they support. You’ll give leaders and their teams the tools and support they need to best serve our clients. You’ll use your human resources experience to provide value added advice and counsel in all areas of Human Resources including: performance management, rewards and recognition, recruitment and retention, talent management, succession planning, employee relations and diversity. The role exercises a high degree of independent judgement in partnership with Employee Relations, Policy and Governance to resolve issues that may arise in the workplace. In addition, the role leads HR related programs and initiatives. The role works with the PCT leadership team to ensure their HR requirements are met and helps build a working environment conducive to high levels of employee commitment and engagement. Talent management & workforce transformation – Working with your HR Centres of Excellence (CoE) partners, you develop integrated talent strategies and solutions to support the business is acquiring, developing and retaining the best talent to meet current and future business needs and help them in tackling their top talent priorities. You support leaders in building employee capabilities and enabling team performance. HR programs – You plan and lead the delivery of HR projects and initiatives to ensure the needs of the client groups and Corporate HR are met in a timely and efficient manner. Partners with senior leaders from the business and HR to deliver on strategic programs and ensure a governance model across all projects. Anticipates and plans for future human capability needs by analyzing and interpreting workforce information, reviewing results of employee surveys, and discussing top of mind issues and concerns with business and HR leaders.  Who you are You can demonstrate experience in an HR Generalist, Program Management, or consulting role and have a solid understanding HR concepts, policies, practices and governance/legislation.  Your influence makes an impact .
