To learn more about CIBC, please visit CIBC.com What you’ll be doing The Senior Manager, BlackLine Capability Hub will assist in leading the process of the configuration, management, and optimization of the BlackLine platform. This role partners with Finance leadership, Technology, and Business stakeholders to build and maintain strong global reconciliation processes to support CIBC’s financial accounting and control processes across its group of companies. You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote. How you’ll succeed Balance Sheet Strategy - Execute on the Global Balance Sheet control strategy to ensure the completeness, and accuracy of CIBC’s Balance sheet. BlackLine Platform - Oversee the administration, configuration, and maintenance of the BlackLine platform. Evaluate and execute onboarding of reconciliation processes onto the BlackLine platform.  Drive adoption of new features and best practices to maximize BlackLine platform value.  Oversee the development and delivery of BlackLine tools and analytical analysis for management and operational decision-making.  Lead change management initiatives for BlackLine system upgrades, new module rollouts, and process changes. Training - Develop and deliver training programs for BlackLine system users and local administrators. Process Improvements - Identify, recommend, and implement process improvements and automation through BlackLine workflows. Stakeholder Management - Communicate effectively with Leaders and other stakeholders regarding system enhancements, risks, and opportunities. Serve as the primary liaison between Finance, Technology, and Business units for BlackLine-related initiatives. Who you are You have a degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field. You can demonstrate 5+ years’ experience in financial systems administration, accounting, or finance operations.  In addition, you have 3+ years’ experience with BlackLine or similar financial close/reconciliation platforms. Further, you have strong understanding of financial close processes, internal controls, and compliance requirements, along with proven leadership and team management skills. You're digitally savvy.
