As a Senior Consultant, Workplace Technology Operations you will act as the end-to-end service steward for workplace technology experience at CIBC Square and related campus locations, with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring employee-facing technology services operate reliably, responsively, and seamlessly across a dynamic, multi-stakeholder environment. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to advocate for the adoption of new technologies and processes that enhance operational effectiveness. Examples of some initiatives that you might be involved with: Planning and execution of the refresh strategy for employee technology, redesign and enhancement of existing spaces and services, facilitating maintenance change activities, Incident Management Support. How you’ll succeed   Leadership & Influence – Collaborate with senior leaders across the company and make informed recommendations to enhance our employee focused solutions. You build strong relationships across diverse stakeholder groups and influence outcomes without formal authority. You navigate complex environments with professionalism, diplomacy, and accountability. You will serve as the primary operational integrator across technology, facilities, real estate, and service teams to ensure workplace technology services meet employee experience standards. Coordinate incident response and problem management efforts, particularly for high-visibility or recurring issues, ensuring clear communication and stakeholder engagement. Governance & Change Facilitation – You understand how change, risk, and operational governance intersect and can facilitate structured processes while maintaining business momentum. You proactively contribute to governance initiatives in the development of company policies, audit requirements, standards, and guidelines. Facilitate change activities and service requests impacting workplace technologies, ensuring alignment with operational standards and governance processes. Operational Excellence - You take ownership of service experience end-to-end. When something doesn’t feel right, you investigate deeply, challenge assumptions constructively, and drive resolution. Support periodic operational activities outside of standard business hours (e.g., testing, maintenance windows, critical change events). Employee Engagement & Relationship Management – Focus on employee experience and connect with people and teams to ensure CIBC Square is a great place to work. You will deliver trusted advice and technology solutions to meet employee needs. Maintain relationships with business management to identify technology needs to support the CIBC Campus and align application services to support those needs. Establish and maintain stakeholder, client and senior management relationships. Responsiveness & Accountability - You are curious and analytical. You assume anecdotal feedback may signal broader issues and proactively work to uncover patterns and prevent recurrence. When issues arise, you engage quickly, ensure the right teams are involved, and follow through until closure, communicating clearly throughout. You are comfortable operating in ambiguity and contributing to the development of structure where it does not yet exist. Who you are   You can demonstrate 5-6 years of experience. in employee-facing technology ecosystems (e.g., AV, collaboration tools, network infrastructure, workplace applications) at a functional level, without needing deep engineering expertise. You understand workplace technology operations, service delivery, campus technology environments, or complex cross-functional operational roles. You deliver results in a matrix environment where they may not have direct influence on project resources. You must have previous experience establishing and maintaining stakeholder and sponsor relationships and you have experience in integration projects and keen interest in architecture and high level design.
