Scheduled Weekly Hours: 36 We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Ophthalmic Technician I to join our team at Emplify Health by Gundersen. The ideal candidate will assist optometrists in providing high-quality patient care, performing various diagnostic tests, and ensuring a smooth workflow in the clinic. No vision or eye experience needed. All training for this role will be provided. Key Responsibilities: Assist in patient examinations and procedures. Perform preliminary tests, including visual acuity, tonometry, and other diagnostic assessments. Maintain and prepare examination rooms and equipment. Document patient information accurately in electronic health records. Educate patients on eye care and post-operative instructions. Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care. What you will do: Work 36 hours; Monday - Friday. No Weekends or Holidays Hours are between 7:30a-5:00p Location: Black River Falls and Tomah Opportunity to travel to assist at all Gundersen optical locations Provide a quality optical experience to our patients and guests What you will get: Starting pay of $19.86/hour + more for experience!
