This role ensures optimal system performance, customer satisfaction, and compliance with safety and quality standards through on-site and remote support. As t he Field Service Engineer you w ill be responsible for: On-Site Service Execution: Perform troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, system calibration, customer training, and software updates/backups. Installation & Commissioning: Install and commission Industrial Radiography Systems according to specifications and standards. Technical Consultancy: Provide expert advice on service products and identify opportunities for equipment upgrades and related solutions. Commercial Support: Assist in preparing offers, quotations, and complex service contracts. Remote Support: Deliver technical assistance via phone or online platforms to customers and internal teams. Service Reporting: Ensure accurate and timely submission of service reports following job completion. Health, Safety & Environment (HSE): Promote and adhere to strong HSE practices in all activities. Quality Feedback: Contribute to product improvement by providing field feedback on performance and reliability. Process Improvement: Support development and continuous improvement of work instructions and operational processes. Customer Satisfaction: Maintain high standards of quality and service, demonstrating initiative, confidence, and systematic execution to achieve project goals. To be successful in this role you will: Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Mechanical Engineering with strong electrical and electronic knowledge. Proven experience as a Field Service Technician or Engineer in software, maintenance, and repair, or equivalent knowledge and experience. Proficiency in using electronic measuring instruments such as multimeters and radiation monitors. Solid IT knowledge with strong skills in PC hardware/software troubleshooting and repair. Ideally experienced with X-ray and/or digital imaging technology. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex issues and clearly articulate resolution methods. Customer-focused with a passion for delivering exceptional service. Team-oriented and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently. Willingness to travel for on-site duties and support. Strong oral and written communication skills. Fluent in English; proficiency in Chinese is an advantage. Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building abilities. Ability to interface effectively at all organizational levels, both internally and externally. Skilled in presentations and public speaking, projecting credibility and confidence.
