Job role may include sales, job design, execution, and follow-up activities. Provides the planning necessary for the job, including instructions to the crew and equipment used. Coordinates and directs the activities of service operators. Coordinates the cleanup, repair, and preparation of equipment for the next job. May evaluate individual performance levels of the crew and train operators to improve their job performance. Job Description Summary Under direct supervision during on-the-job training, the candidate must receive and follow specific, detailed instructions. Learn and assist other crew members during Installation and/or Maintenance activities at Customer Sites. He/she is responsible for learning to execute maintenance/installation of TPS rotating equipment and for assisting other crew members in performing the assigned scope of work. Primarily interacts with assigned MENTOR or direct supervisor and other specialists/supervisors in the group. Executes all required responsibilities safely and as instructed by direct supervisors, following all IET Gas Technology Service applicable processes and procedures. Performs other related duties as required. Conducts all business activities in accordance with Baker Hughes HSE policies, Legal Compliance requirements, and Baker Hughes Core Values.  Qualifications / Requirements Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college, preferably in mechanical and electrical engineering, or 1 - 2 years of experience in the field of service or installation position in the Rotating Equipment industry Ability to understand and implement technical drawings (Mechanical drawings, P&ID, Instrumentation, etc.) Strong Mechanic and Control attitude Excellent English fluency, both spoken and written Willingness and availability to travel worldwide 80% of the time (on and offshore). Legally authorized to work in Mexico and eligible to work across the border, such as in Canada, Europe, and the USA Desired Characteristics Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Proficiency in using Excel and MS Office. Ability to work effectively with minimum supervision Strong customer service mindset Strong organizational skills The Baker Hughes internal title for this role is: Field Specialist I - SVS - AERO
