Job Profile Summary Under supervision, supports the application of statistical methodologies, or/and advanced machine learning algorithms, and AI techniques to assigned projects, ensuring their timely and high-quality delivery. Also contributes to internal development initiatives focused on standardizing analytic workflows and enhancing project execution efficiency. There are 2 sub job families are hiring data scientists - JAPAN RWE data analysis projects, requiring AI experience; China technology consulting solutions, requiring strong agentic development experience. Essential Functions Drafts Statistical Analysis Plans and analysis dataset specifications to scientifically document clinical analysis requirements. Provides statistical methodology support for standard and custom projects utilizing advanced statistical methods and machine learning algorithms for big data analysis and scientific evidence generation. Collaborates with business teams to develop AI tools and analytic platforms, optimizing prompt engineering and standardizing analytic workflows to improve efficiency and quality. Stays current with the latest AI research, evaluating and integrating new tools and technologies into business processes. Qualifications Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics/Biostatistics, Mathematics or a related field. At least 2 years of experience in the field of data science or machine learning; experience with analytic platform development, AI-generated content, or Agentic AI projects is preferred. Proficiency in SAS, R, Python, Java, or other programming languages, with basic knowledge of software development frameworks. Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills and a strong spirit of teamwork. Excellent English writing and speaking skills are essential; the ability to communicate in Japanese is a plus.
