Computer User Support Specialist The Opportunity: Support day-to-day remote technical aspects of product operational data to identify diagnostic issues in enough detail to determine if the root cause is hardware or sof tware. Apply specific functional knowledge, including working and general industry knowledge. Develop or contribute to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Work independently with some guidance and review or guide activities of more junior employees. Work with engineering and production staff supporting non-networked IT equipment. Support the Engineering community with CAD and CAM application support. You Have: 2+ years of experience with IT technical support Knowledge of Windows OS Secret clearance HS diploma or GED Ability to obtain CompTIA Security+ Certification within 6 months of start date Nice If You Have: Experience with industrial machine sof tware Experience with IT ticketing systems Experience with IT troubleshooting Knowledge of CAD and CAM applications Bachelor's degree in an IT related field Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information ; Secret clearance is required. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $55,200.00 to $126,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
