What We Offer You A diverse and inclusive environment that embraces change, innovation, and collaboration A hybrid working model, allowing for in-office / work from home flexibility, generous vacation, personal and volunteer days Employee Resource Groups support an inclusive workplace for everyone and promote community engagement Competitive compensation packages including health and wellbeing benefits, retirement savings plans, parental leave, and family building benefits Educational resources, matching gift and volunteer programs What You’ll Do Planning and developing entire engineering solutions to accomplish business goals Building reliability and resilience into solutions with appropriate testing and reviewing throughout the delivery lifecycle Ensuring maintainability and reusability of engineering solutions Ensuring solutions are well architected and can be integrated successfully into the end-to-end business process flow Resolving events and complex issues with an awareness of overlapping and different technology areas Skills You’ll Need Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or comparable qualification Proven experience in software development and integration of a highly available and scalable software product Proficiency in relevant programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, C#, Go, Shell scripting such as Bash or PowerShell) and strong understanding of APIs and web services Ability to communicate technical concepts in a clear and understandable manner Strong DevOps background and a keen eye on process automations Skills That Will Help You Excel Understanding of common integration patterns, architectures, and security for SaaS and Application Programming Interface (APIs) Experience in information security, especially identity and access management and secrets management Experience with cloud-based infrastructure: GCP (GKE, CloudSQL, CloudMonitoring, etc.), Docker/Kubernetes/OpenShift, Terraform, Confluent Kafka, Helm Good knowledge of Deployment - Automation & CI: GIT, BitBucket, Artifactory, Ansible, Maven, Ant Artifactory, Jenkins, TeamCity, uDeploy Experience in the development and execution of test automation scripts (Selenium, Cucumber, Karate etc.) Expectations   It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Cary, NC office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model. The salary range for this position in Cary is $100,000 to $153,000. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications.
