The Role : The Director, Electric Product Management leads Xylem’s Electric strategy, driving profitable growth and innovation across global product lines. This role owns the full product lifecycle — from roadmap definition to market launch and end-of-life — while ensuring customer-centric solutions and industry leadership. As a highly visible leader, you will represent Xylem’s vision externally, foster a culture of innovation internally, and deliver measurable impact to communities across North America. Responsibilities: Strategy & Roadmap Define and execute global product strategy and roadmap. Lead a high-performing team in developing positioning, value propositions, and launch plans. Translate customer insights and market trends into actionable product development priorities. Growth & Profitability Develop pricing strategies and margin targets. Partner with sales and marketing to drive adoption and revenue growth. Monitor competitive landscape and adjust strategies accordingly. Lifecycle Management Oversee product lifecycle from launch to discontinuation. Identify value engineering opportunities and optimize product lines. Ensure timely, well-resourced product launches with supporting materials. Brand & Market Presence Represent Xylem at industry events, conferences, and customer engagements. Drive thought leadership through white papers, presentations, and internal and external communications. Collaborate cross-functionally to build compelling value propositions. Leadership & Culture Inspire and develop a high-performing team Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and collaboration. Drive industry confidence as a key senior leader of Xylem Electric Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred. Proven leadership experience in product management, electric utilities or related fields. Strong background in pricing, lifecycle management, and competitive analysis. Experience with AI-driven integration or digital transformation. Excellent communication, analytical, and project management skills.
