The Legal team ensures our rapid growth is built on a foundation of compliance and rigorous defense, allowing our clinicians to focus on patient outcomes.As the Associate General Counsel, you will be the strategic architect of our healthcare, pharmacy, and regulatory arm. You aren't here to just identify risks; you will own the entire regulatory landscape for our business, serving as a subject matter expert who translates complex healthcare laws into actionable business strategies. You will lead a growing function, navigating the evolving intersection of technology and medicine to ensure OpenLoop remains a leader in compliant, nationwide care delivery.What You'll DoOwn the Regulatory Roadmap: Serve as the primary legal authority for all healthcare, pharmacy, and digital health regulatory matters. You will proactively navigate fraud and abuse laws, corporate practice of medicine challenges, and multi-state pharmacy regulations.Architect Healthcare Compliance: Support the development and oversight of OpenLoop’s healthcare compliance program. Strategic Regulatory Engagement: You will lead the development of outreach strategies, management of regulatory filings, and responses to government inquiries.Operationalize Legal Advice: Move beyond "no" to find "how." You will develop legal tools and SOPs that allow our product and engineering teams to build compliant telehealth features at speed, balancing legal risk with aggressive business growth.Other duties as assigned.
