As the Engineering Director, you will be responsible for the technical direction, architecture, and delivery of our solutions. You will lead a team of talented software engineers and work closely with product management to ensure the success of our products.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>As part of the role, you will participate in an on-call rotation to provide timely support and address any critical system issues that may arise outside of regular working hours.</p>\n<p></p><p><br></p><b>What you will do</b><div> <ul> <li> <p>Lead a group of engineering managers and their squads to deliver high-quality software products.</p> </li> <li> <p>Provide technical leadership and guidance to the engineering teams, ensuring that the teams are aligned with the company's technical vision and strategy.</p> </li> <li> <p>Define and drive the technical direction, architecture, and roadmap of our products.</p> </li> <li> <p>Collaborate with product management to ensure that our products meet customer needs and business objectives.</p> </li> <li> <p>Work closely with quality assurance to ensure that our products meet high standards of quality and reliability.</p> </li> <li> <p>Ensure that the engineering team is using best practices in software development, including agile development methodologies, continuous integration and delivery, and automated testing.</p> </li> <li> <p>Hire and develop top engineering talent, and engineering managers and foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.</p> </li> <li> <p>Help to grow individual engineering managers to lead their teams.</p> </li> </ul> </div><p><br></p><b>Experience and qualifications</b><ul> <li> <p>Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.</p> </li> <li> <p>10+ years of experience in software development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.</p> </li> <li> <p>Strong experience in leading software development teams, with a track record of delivering high-quality software products.</p> </li> <li> <p>Strong technical background in software development, with experience in Java, JavaScript, or other programming languages.</p> </li> <li> <p>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.</p> </li> <li> <p>Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team of engineers.</p> </li> <li> <p>Experience with agile development methodologies, continuous integration and delivery, and automated testing.</p> </li> </ul><p><br></p><p></p>\n<p> </p><p> </p><h3><strong>Additional comments</strong></h3> This role is based in Singapore.
