If our systems are quiet, they are healthy.   If you are drawn to being an engineer within such an environment, and having outsized impact as an engineer at a magnitude that is only available within a company achieving greatness at our size (~350 employees, half in engineering), then we want to hear from you!    \n As a core member of the team, you will:<ul> <li>Build a premier native iOS application</li> <li>Take ownership of large, complex projects from ideation through execution and delivery.</li> <li>Collaborate with product, design, and engineering leadership to shape the roadmap and deliver a seamless and delightful user experience.</li> <li>Work with frontend and backend engineers to design, build and test reusable REST APIs</li> <li>Design and build high-quality infrastructure; making the right tradeoffs for risk and long-term maintainability</li> <li>Get an opportunity to work with leadership to define the team's priorities and initiatives</li> <li>Work independently, use available resources to get unblocked, and complete tasks on schedule by exercising strong judgment and problem-solving skills</li> <li>Provide technical guidance and mentorship to peers</li> <li>Ensure our iOS app and iOS CI systems operate smoothly in production by triaging and resolving operational issues as part of a team of on-call engineers</li> </ul> This role could be a fit if you have:<ul> <li>6 - 10 years of professional iOS development experience</li> <li>Deep expertise with Swift and iOS frameworks - knowledge of Objective-C is a plus but not required</li> <li>Experience creating complex and performant user interfaces with UIKit and/or SwiftUI</li> <li>Experience writing unit tests and testable code</li> <li>A track record of delivering high-quality, testable, and maintainable code.</li> <li>Excellent problem solving, critical thinking and communication skills</li> <li>BS or MS in computer science, related field, or equivalent professional experience</li> </ul> Once you join, Wealthfront will:<ul> <li>Pair you with a mentor who will guide you through our structured onboarding program</li> <li>Involve you in cross-functional planning and technical strategy discussions.</li> <li>Support your professional development by providing feedback during weekly 1:1s and our semi-annual reviews</li> <li>Empower you with autonomy and ownership over impactful initiatives that shape the future of our iOS platform.</li> </ul> \nEstimated annual salary range: $180,000 - $220,000 plus equity and a discretionary bonus.   Benefits include medical, vision, dental, 401K plan, generous time off, parental leave, wellness reimbursements, professional development, employee investing discount, and more!
