Summary The Senior Solutions Consultant within the commercial (BD)  Flex team is a senior, high-impact role operating at the intersection of Sales, Product and Market Strategy. The role combines deep client-facing solution consulting with strong market and regulatory understanding, ensuring that our offerings are positioned credibly, competitively, and with a clear path to value for customers. This role operates as a trusted liaison between sales and product. \n <div> Focus areas The role is deliberately split across three focus areas.  <ul> <li>  Deep Solutions Consulting </li> </ul> Lead deep engagement with a small number of high-value prospects. Own extended discovery phases, understand the client’s commercial, regulatory, and technical context, and help deliver the value proposition. The Senior Solutions Consultant will act in complete alignment with sales and regulatory to ensure alignment. <ul> <li> Product Demos  </li> </ul> During the sales process, the sales consultant will be responsible for conducting demos to show potential customers the platform in depth to help them understand the benefits of the Kraken platform. These demos happen throughout the sales process, from pre-sales setting up the value proposition to the closing process to demonstrate how Flex will work within the use case for the utility client.  <ul> <li> Flex Market & Value Expertise </li> </ul> Act as the internal and external reference point for the NA energy Market, flexibility, and VPP-related topics relevant to Flex. This position also supports respective product, commercial strategy and product marketing decisions and will represent Kraken externally through thought leadership. <ul data-start="319" data-end="484"> <li data-section-id="tz0hze" data-start="319" data-end="484">Experience in energy flexibility (DER, demand response, VPPs), with the ability to translate market mechanisms and use cases into client facing solutions.</li> </ul> </div> <div> Senior Solutions Consultant. Other success criteria taken into account: <ul> <li> Contribution to deal quality </li> <li> Clear and aligned demonstration of Kraken Flex </li> <li> Quality and depth of solution design for deals </li> <li> Credibility with future utility clients throughout the pre-sales / closing </li> <li> Influence on product strategy and market positioning </li> <li> Strength of market insights and thought leadership </li> </ul> Responsibilities The responsibility matrix below outlines the key functions of the Senior Solutions Consultant and may be extended based on need and expertise of the hire.
