In this role, you will own and scale seller acquisition and activation through performance marketing channels such as Google, Meta, and emerging platforms. You will focus on driving high-quality seller onboarding, improving activation rates, and optimizing CAC and payback periods. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, experimentation-led thinking, and the ability to translate data into actionable growth strategies.   \n What You will Do<div> Seller Acquisition & Channel Ownership <ul> <li> Own and scale seller acquisition across performance marketing channels (Google, Meta, affiliates, etc.) </li> <li> Drive high-quality seller sign-ups with a focus on downstream activation and retention </li> <li> Optimize campaigns for cost-efficient acquisition (CAC) while maintaining seller quality benchmarks  </li> </ul> Funnel Optimization (Signup → Activation → First Success) <ul> <li> Improve seller funnel metrics such as signup → KYC completion → catalog upload → first order </li> <li> Identify and reduce drop-offs across onboarding journeys </li> <li> Work closely with product and lifecycle teams to improve conversion rates  </li> </ul> Experimentation & Growth <ul> <li> Run structured experiments across audiences, creatives, landing pages, and funnel interventions </li> <li> Identify new growth levers such as regional expansion, category-specific acquisition, and vernacular targeting </li> <li> Test and scale new channels, formats, and campaign strategies  </li> </ul> Performance & Efficiency Management <ul> <li> Monitor and optimize key metrics such as CAC, activation rate, payback period, LTV/CAC, CVR, CTR, CPM </li> <li> Manage budget allocation across channels to maximize incremental seller growth </li> <li> Track and mitigate issues like audience saturation, creative fatigue, and declining marginal returns </li> </ul> Insights & Analytics <ul> <li> Analyze seller cohorts by category, geography, quality, and lifecycle stage </li> <li> Derive insights on seller behavior to improve targeting and messaging </li> <li> Build frameworks for incrementality and attribution for seller acquisition  </li> </ul> Cross-functional Collaboration <ul> <li> Partner with product, analytics, design, and category teams to align growth efforts </li> <li> Influence onboarding experience, landing pages, and communication strategy based on performance insights </li> </ul> </div> What Will You Need<div> <ul> <li> 3+ years of experience in performance marketing, preferably in consumer internet, e-commerce, or app-based businesses </li> <li> Strong hands-on expertise in Meta Ads & Google Ads, along with a solid understanding of incrementality frameworks </li> <li> Strong understanding of key growth and performance metrics such as CPM, CTR, CTI, hook rate, CAC, reach, frequency, and attribution models </li> <li> Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets; working knowledge of SQL or analytics tools is a plus </li> <li> Familiarity with seller or partner acquisition funnels is a plus </li> <li> Strong analytical thinking with a structured, problem-first approach and a bias for action </li> <li> Ability to operate with high ownership in a fast-paced environment </li> <li> A strong growth mindset with a passion for experimentation, learning, and continuous improvement </li> <li> Clear and effective communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and collaboratively </li> </ul> </div> \nAbout us  Welcome to Meesho, where every story begins with a spark of inspiration and a dash of entrepreneurial spirit.
