We’re passionate about creating a workplace where everyone belongs, can thrive, and sees a future for themselves here.</p> <p><strong>Te Tūranga – About the role<br></strong>Due to an internal secondment within the HR Team, we have an opportunity for an HR Business Partner to join us on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract.&nbsp; Working as part of the broader HR Team, you'll support our New World stores across the North Island, ensuring they have strong people strategies and engagement across their businesses.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Strategic business partnering with New World Owner Operators across the North Island</li> <li>You'll partner with Owner Operators to understand their latest engagement insights and bring to life engagement in store.&nbsp;</li> <li>Coach and Support through ER/IR, investigations and conflict resolution with a focus on providing pragmatic advice.</li> <li>Support data-driven decision-making through effective people and performance metrics.</li> <li>Champion HR skills in stores and collaborate with other Store HRBP’s and store-based HR teams to add value to the HR space in stores.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Ngā painga - What we offer<br></strong>We’re committed to providing awesome experiences for our people, including offering a range of benefits:</p> <ul> <li>Company vehicle – as this role will include regularly travelling to our stores.</li> <li>Onsite café with subsidised meals, mini mart, 5% discount at our retail stores</li> <li>Flexible working options, a day off on your birthday</li> <li>Inhouse learning and development courses, flu vaccinations, and social network groups (we call them Tribes)</li> </ul> <p><strong>He kōrero mōu - About you<br></strong>Ideally, you'll have a strong background in HR within medium to large enterprises, preferably in retail or customer-focused environments with exposure and experience across engagement and culture, ER, IR and HR advisory.</p> <p>Proactive and collaborative in your approach, you'll effortlessly build relationships to coach and influence great people outcomes.</p> <p>With stores dotted across the North Island you'll need to be able to hit the road (at least bi-weekly) and be present on-site with our Owners.
