This role will support multiple business units (IT, Commercial Operations and our National teams) with a strong focus on partnering with to deliver niche IT hiring.</p> <p>You’ll support end-to-end recruitment and proactive sourcing, partnering closely with hiring leaders to shape role briefs, advise on the market, and build sustainable talent pipelines.</p> <p>• &nbsp; &nbsp;<strong>Build niche IT pipelines:</strong> Identify, engage and nurture technical talent for critical and hard-to-fill roles.<br>• &nbsp; <strong>&nbsp;Use market insight</strong>: Bring talent market data, mapping and trends to inform role briefs, search strategies and hiring decisions.<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;<strong>Design technical sourcing approaches</strong>: Use targeted search techniques, communities, referrals and campaigns to build diverse shortlists and improve time-to-hire for specialist roles.<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;<strong>Partner with leaders</strong>: Build trusted relationships with stakeholders, provide clear advice, and keep hiring moving with great candidate and hiring manager experiences.<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;<strong>Support inclusion:</strong> Recruit in a way that reflects the communities we serve, with fair, consistent processes and strong attention to candidate care.</p> <p><strong>He kōrero mōu - About you&nbsp;</strong></p> <p>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Mid–senior TA experience (in-house and/or agency), with confidence managing multiple roles, senior stakeholders and competing priorities.<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Demonstrated capability recruiting for niche IT/technical positions, including proactive sourcing and talent mapping for scarce skillsets.<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;A consultative, data-informed approach—able to influence role design and selection decisions using market insight, search metrics and candidate feedback.<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with a focus on delivering a great experience for candidates and hiring managers.</p> <p>This is an opportunity to join a team that’s building a strong, modern talent function, where you’ll have the autonomy to shape sourcing approaches, test new ideas, and make a visible impact across the Co-op.</p> <p><strong>Ngā painga - What we offer</strong></p> <p>We’re committed to providing awesome experiences for our people, including offering a range of benefits&nbsp;</p> <p>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Free carparking - we’ve got over 1,000 carparks including EV plugs&nbsp;<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;5% discount at our retail stores&nbsp;<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Flexible working and a day off on your birthday&nbsp;<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Inhouse learning and development programmes and courses, flu vaccinations, and social network groups (we call them Tribes).</p> <p><strong>Experience awesome.
