Custody</p> <ul> <li>Custody services to predominantly discretionary fund managers (DFMs) and independent financial advisors (IFAs)</li> <li>Clearing and settlement services mainly on an agency basis for its DFMs and IFAs</li> <li>Trade execution services mainly for its DFMs, IFAs and institutional clients</li> <li>Utilising the same core infrastructure, TS&amp;C also serves a significant number of institutional broker-dealers and institutional investor clients.</li> </ul> <p><strong>The role</strong></p> <ul> <li>This is a entry level role, we are looking for someone with a little experience with payments and treasury but will also consider individuals who are out of university with a relevant degree.&nbsp;</li> <li>As part of the busy Clearing &amp; Custody Operations team, you will be responsible for providing professional day to day payments support to our global client base, preparation of Group-wide daily reconciliations and supporting the provision of a seamless internal treasury function.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p></p><p><br></p><b>Main Responsibilities </b><div> <ul> <li>Monitoring generic mail inbox for incoming client and firm treasury payment instructions – booking across internal and external systems whilst maintaining rigorous process control.</li> <li>Liaising with clients, counterparts and custodian banks over payment instructions and issues.</li> <li>Liaising with internal control teams (Risk/Compliance) over payment authorisation.</li> <li>Monitoring cash/FX projections and reacting to a continually changing requirement.</li> <li>Helping to identify and solve breaks where possible.</li> <li>Identification and escalation of serious issues/concerns to management/compliance teams.</li> <li>Preparing end of day management information/stats.</li> <li>Involvement in ongoing project work based around enhancement of systems/ controls/processes.</li> <li>Other ad-hoc duties pertinent to Treasury department</li> </ul> </div><p><br></p><b>Requirements </b><div> <ul> <li>1-3 yrs. industry experience - degree in numerical discipline advantageous.</li> <li>Prior experience in similar role, with exposure to a CASS model distinctly advantageous.</li> <li>Experience in Prime Brokerage/Securities Clearing advantageous.</li> <li>Keen interest in Capital Markets and the investment industry.</li> <li>Impeccable written and verbal communication skills.</li> <li>Ability to prioritize and adhere to strict deadlines.</li> <li>Confidence in proactive use of initiative, and comfort working both autonomously and as&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
