<p><b style="font-size: 11pt;">DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW:</b></p><p><span style="font-size: 11pt;">The Facilities Services Team at the Boston Red Sox is focused on the delivery of exceptional facilities services with a focus on enhancing the life cycle, performance, and presentation of the Clubs physical assets.&nbsp;</span></p><p><b style="font-size: 11pt;">&nbsp;</b></p><p><b style="font-size: 11pt;">POSITION OVERVIEW:</b></p><p><span style="font-size: 11pt;">This position contributes to the delivery of safe, clean, and reliable facilities services for all Boston Red Sox home games and Fenway Park’s ancillary events.&nbsp; As a member of the Facilities Team this hands-on position will perform a wide variety of tasks associated with game day and event set-ups, breakdowns, and storage of Fenway Park equipment and furnishings.&nbsp; Duties are heavy in nature and may be performed in adverse weather conditions. </span></p><p><span style="font-size: 11pt;">&nbsp;</span></p><p><i style="font-size: 11pt;">The hourly rate for this role is $15.</i></p>\n<p></p><p><br></p><b>RESPONSIBILITIES:</b><ul><li>Installs &amp; removes gates, barriers, portable turnstiles &amp; metal detectors </li><li>Set-up &amp; break-down of tables, chairs, umbrellas, awnings, etc.</li><li>Positions interior displays and interactive items</li><li>Supports general upkeep of the ballpark through tasks such as graffiti and sticker removal, helping maintain a clean and professional environment for all fans</li><li>Additional duties may be assigned by Supervisor&nbsp;</li></ul><p><br></p><b>CHARACTERISTICS / QUALIFICATIONS:</b><ul><li>Must be 18 years of age or older</li><li>Ability to perform heavy manual work that requires sufficient dexterity and strength to lift/move objects up to 75 pounds</li><li>Ability to perform routine and repetitive tasks with minimal supervision</li><li>Must be able to accommodate business demands and required overtime for games, special events, special projects, maintenance emergencies, snow removal and peak season hours</li><li>Must be reliable and maintain a positive attitude </li><li>Must be able to work collaboratively as a member of a team to provide the highest levels of customer service.</li></ul><p><br></p><p></p>\n<p>At the Boston Red Sox we go beyond&nbsp;embracing&nbsp;diversity.&nbsp;We’re committed to living by our values, strengthening our community, and creating a workplace where people genuinely feel like they belong.&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Too often, job seekers don’t apply to positions because they don’t meet every qualification.
