We stand out as the only German school abroad nominated for this award.</p><p><br></p><p>GESS is looking to recruit a temporary staff to cover work in the school shop over the busy summer period (1-2 months / July to August).</p> <p>This role will be an hourly paid part time role with S$16/hour.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong><u>Key Accountabilities:</u></strong></p> <p><strong><u>Inventory</u></strong></p> <p>• Help to check and maintain inventory management with guidance and supervision of the Shop assistant&nbsp; &nbsp;</p> <p>• Help to order and replenish items according to the approved quantity</p> <p>• Help to ensure sufficient supply across school for examination papers, markers, markers refill, white board erasers and refills etc. Compulsory teaching and learning resources</p> <p>• Conduct stock take in the Storeroom and school shop during term breaks and reconcile the difference and provide a report</p> <p>• Ensure inventory and information in Shopify and Synergetic has been updated in a timely manner</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong><u>Online school shop</u></strong></p> <p>• Provide best quality of online service experience to customers</p> <p>• Maintain and update online school shop items information and categories</p> <p>• Check Shopify online shop for new orders, print order list, gather the items, and send notification for parents to pick up</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong><u>Sales</u></strong></p> <p>• Open and close school shop account</p> <p>• Good communication with teachers, students, and parents, and answer all the queries, including replying all School Shop emails</p> <p>• Apply problem solving skills to assist different requests from stakeholders</p> <p>• Safeguarding the shop inventories and mitigate risks, including avoid shoplifting and/or missing items</p> <p>• Comply all GESS Health and Safety regulations, Code of Conduct, and all related Policies in the School Shop management environment</p> <p>• Carry out daily reconciliation of sales reports vs actual receipts</p> <p>• Conduct regular market research and product analysis for management to review</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong><u>General Administration</u></strong></p> <p>• General operation of campus school shop and online school shop</p> <p>• Excellent reporting and analysis skills by using Excel, Words, etc.</p> <p>• Cover and support colleagues during busy and leave periods</p> <p>• Perform ad hoc projects or tasks allocated by Procurement Manager</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong><u>Pipeline Projects</u></strong></p> <p>• Be a partner of school to streamline internal process and form new policies and procedures</p> <p>• Assist in procurement/school shop related pipeline projects, SOPs and policies, such as Procurement Policy, E-procurement, tender process and change of system, software or hardware, etc.&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong><u>Others</u></strong></p> <p>• Other tasks, duties or projects as assigned by Director of Operations and Customer Experience</p>\n<p></p><p><br></p><p></p>\n<p><b>Fair Recruitment and Safeguarding:</b>&nbsp;We are committed to fair recruitment practices and safeguarding the welfare of all students.
