About This Position   As part of Intersect’s Engineering team, you’ll design and secure the communications backbone that enables utility-scale clean energy facilities to operate safely, reliably, and in full compliance within ERCOT. This role is central to delivering standardized, scalable SCADA networking architecture across solar, wind, and BESS projects while ensuring seamless integration with ISO and owner platforms. You’ll lead complex telemetry and control system integration efforts—from design through commissioning—while strengthening cybersecurity controls aligned with NERC CIP and internal standards. Your expertise will directly influence fleet-wide standards, long-term infrastructure reliability, and operational excellence across Intersect’s growing portfolio. This role is planned to start in mid-Q1, with a four-week training period to reach full productivity by mid-Q2.   Team Overview   This team plays a critical role in advancing Intersect’s mission to accelerate the renewable energy transition by designing, building, and optimizing high-performing clean energy assets at scale.
