We are looking for an experienced professional to support senior leadership in directing and executing their go-forward acquisition and development strategy.</p> <p>You will report to the Managing Director, Investments, and work on-site at our Chicago, IL office Monday–Friday, with travel up to 25%.</p> <p>The salary range for this role is $120K - $220K, plus an annual bonus.</p>\n<p></p><p><br></p><b>Responsibilities </b><div> <ul style="list-style-type: disc;"> <li>Source, evaluate, and execute student housing acquisition and development opportunities across U.S. markets.</li> <li>Lead the underwriting, financial analysis, and overall evaluation of investment opportunities, working closely with a team of associates and analysts.</li> <li>Collaborate with development, capital markets, asset management, and property management teams to execute investment strategies and business plans post-closing.</li> <li>Manage key transaction processes including negotiations, due diligence, legal documentation (LOI, PSA, JV agreements, etc.), and preparation of investment committee and capital partner materials.</li> <li>Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers, investors, lenders, and industry partners while helping position Article Student Living as a leader in the student housing sector.</li> <li>Lead, mentor, and develop investment team members to support sourcing, underwriting, and execution efforts.</li> </ul> </div><p><br></p><b>Qualifications </b><div> <ul style="list-style-type: disc;"> <li>6–10 years of experience in student housing or multifamily development and/or acquisitions with a strong track record of successful transactions.</li> <li>Established network within the student housing or broader real estate investment community.</li> <li>Demonstrated leadership and team development experience.</li> <li>Bachelor’s or master’s degree in real estate, finance, business, civil engineering, architecture, or a related field.</li> <li>Ability to travel up to 25%.</li> </ul> </div><p><br></p><p></p>\n<div>$120,000 - $220,000 a year</div>\n
