As a Consultant in Professional Services at Caseware, you will participate in the implementation of Caseware accounting, audit, and assurance solutions, owning delivery from initiation through go-live. Consultants also contribute to pre-sales activities and the continuous improvement of Professional Services methodologies and standards. The Consultant will report to the Director, Professional Services. ❗This is a new role. ❗This is a full-time, permanent position. \n What you will be doing: <ul> <li style="text-align: justify;">Lead end-to-end implementations of Caseware accounting and assurance solutions, including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, and go-live support.</li> <li style="text-align: justify;">Act as the primary solution authority for assigned client engagements, providing expert guidance on Caseware functionality, best practices, and accounting workflow optimization.</li> <li style="text-align: justify;">Translate client business and regulatory requirements into scalable, compliant Caseware configurations, ensuring alignment with applicable accounting standards and firm methodologies.</li> <li style="text-align: justify;">Manage client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor to customer stakeholders throughout the implementation lifecycle.</li> <li style="text-align: justify;">Oversee project execution and delivery quality on non-enterprise projects, including scope control, risk identification, issue resolution, and adherence to timelines, budgets, and service standards.</li> <li style="text-align: justify;">Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Support, and Engineering teams to escalate issues, contribute to product feedback, and ensure successful client outcomes.</li> <li style="text-align: justify;">Mentor and provide technical leadership to associate consultants and implementation team members, including knowledge sharing, solution reviews, and delivery oversight.</li> <li style="text-align: justify;">Deliver client training and change management activities, enabling user adoption, process transformation, and long-term value realization from Caseware solutions.</li> <li style="text-align: justify;">Support pre-sales and solution scoping activities by contributing to proposals, solution demonstrations, effort estimation, and implementation approach definition. </li> <li style="text-align: justify;">Continuously improve implementation methodologies and assets, leveraging lessons learned, industry trends, and evolving Caseware capabilities to enhance service delivery effectiveness.</li> </ul> What you will bring: <div style="text-align: justify;">Experience (must meet one of the following):</div> <ul> <li style="text-align: justify;">At least 5 years’ experience in a customer-facing role (e.g., customer success, account management, implementation, product or project management) in a SaaS company serving the accounting profession.</li> </ul> <div style="text-align: justify;"> OR <ul> <li>At least 4 years’ experience working in an audit, accounting, or professional services firm, performing accounting, external audit, or assurance engagements.</li> </ul> <div> <div>Additional Required Experience & Skills:</div> </div> <ul> <li>Demonstrated experience in end-to-end software implementations, including requirements gathering, solution configuration, testing, and go-live support.</li> <li>Strong understanding of accounting and assurance workflows, professional standards, and firm operating models.</li> <li>Proven ability to manage client stakeholders and act as a trusted advisor throughout complex engagements.</li> <li>Experience owning delivery outcomes, including scope, quality, risk, and timelines, with minimal oversight.</li> <li>Excellent communication, facilitation, and documentation skills in a professional services environment.</li> <li>Ability to mentor and contribute to team capability development.</li> </ul> </div> <div> <div> </div> </div> \n Salary Range:   The annual base salary for this position is between $103,000 CAD and $130,000 CAD per year.  This role is also eligible for discretionary bonus and/or commission, as well as other benefits. Actual pay within the listed range will be determined based on factors such as transferable skills, relevant experience, market conditions, and primary work location.
