We offer competitive compensation & benefits, flexible work arrangements, and a potential relocation allowance for the right candidate.\n Responsibilities<ul><li>Completion of calculations, reports and plans in support of transportation projects including stormwater management, storm drainage systems, culverts, open channels, bridge hydraulics and erosion and sediment control.</li><li>Perform Hydrologic and Hydraulic analysis and reporting.</li><li>Obtain permit approvals from state and local agencies.</li><li>Assist in the preparation of engineering documents (plans, reports, cost estimates and specifications) for Advertisement and Construction.</li><li>Meet and work directly with clients and public agency officials.</li><li>Work in collaboration with a Transportation design team comprised of other disciplines and support staff on multi-disciplinary projects.</li><li>Provide QA/QC review following AMT and client-based procedures.</li></ul> Required Qualifications<ul><li>BS in Civil Engineering with emphasis in Water Resources.</li><li>Minimum of 7 years of water resources related experience including plan and report production.</li><li>Hydrology and hydraulic modeling experience (storm drainage, SWM, floodplain, bridge) with commonly used software.</li><li>North Carolina-licensed Professional Engineer required. South Carolina PE Preferred.</li><li>NCDOT experience highly preferred.</li><li>CADD experience with MicroStation/OpenRoads required.</li><li>Excellent organizational, coordination and communication skills, both written and verbal.</li></ul> \nWhy Join AMT? At AMT, we understand that our most valuable asset is our staff.
