With the opportunity to work alongside supportive management, tackle challenging projects, and develop your career, there is no better time to join AMT.\n Responsibilites<ul><li>Perform transportation construction inspections on Highway, Bridges, Environmental, Traffic, and Facilities type projects </li><li>Research contract plans, specifications & publications prior to conducting inspections</li><li>Write daily inspection reports</li><li>Measure and document for payment the contractor's completed work</li><li>Verify proper maintenance of traffic control devices are used and maintained</li><li>Verify proper erosion and sediment control devices are installed and maintained</li><li>Verify materials are procured from approved suppliers</li><li>Perform field test on materials (concrete slump/air, soil compaction, and HMA)</li><li>Complete documentation of materials, labor compliance, safety, processing estimates, work orders, and adjustments</li></ul> Qualifications<ul><li>High School diploma or equivalent</li><li>Valid driver's license</li><li>Reliable means of transportation to travel to, from and on the project site</li><li>Fluent in spoken and written English language</li></ul><div> </div><ul><li>Preferred:</li><li>Have at least a year of experience in inspection of highways/bridges/traffic systems.  Prior experience with SHA</li><li>MDE Responsible Person Certification Card</li><li>SHA Erosion and Sediment Control (Yellow Card)</li><li>MD Temporary Traffic Control Manager</li><li>MARTCP Concrete/HMA/Soils & Aggregates</li><li>OSHA 10 Hour Training</li><li>Previous experience with SHA's Maryland Construction Management System (MCMS) or e-MCMS documentation</li><li>NICET Transportation, WACEL, ACI Concrete Field, NASSCO and IMSA Level 1 Traffic Signal Inspector certification</li></ul> \nWhy Join AMT? At AMT, we understand that our most valuable asset is our staff.
