We build scalable, multi-tenant systems for acquiring users via D2C and partner channels, reducing churn through intelligent renewal and retry mechanisms, and integrating deeply with global and local payment ecosystems like UPI Autopay and card mandates. Our platform drives seamless onboarding, high retention, and reliable payments at scale—enabling frictionless subscription experiences across geographies and devices.\n KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:<ul> <li>Analyze large-scale user behavior and metadata to uncover actionable insights and build impactful models</li> <li>Design, develop, and deploy models and analytical pipelines for user segmentation, behavior prediction, churn analysis, and causal inference to generate actionable user insights</li> <li>Integrate models into production systems ensuring low-latency, high-accuracy performance at scale</li> <li>Collaborate with engineers, product managers, designers, and data scientists to define interest graph & user preferences goals and drive feature impact across user journeys</li> <li>Develop robust A/B test frameworks, analyze experiments, and drive iteration based on performance and user engagement</li> <li>Actively monitor model performance, detect data drift, and refine strategies to improve long-term quality</li> <li>Leverage LLMs and embeddings to improve personalization for missing user data for new users, and existing</li> <li>Present technical strategies and results to cross-functional stakeholders and leadership.</li> </ul> SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES FOR SUCCESS:<ul> <li>Proven experience in data science and machine learning, preferably in subscription/payments or related industries</li> <li>Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and relevant data science libraries (Pandas, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.)</li> <li>Expertise in building and deploying machine learning models into production systems</li> <li>Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud)</li> <li>Deep understanding of statistical analysis, machine learning, data mining, and predictive modeling techniques</li> <li>Should be comfortable leveraging LLMs and internals </li> <li>Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business problems into data science solutions</li> <li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information to non-technical stakeholders</li> </ul> Preferred education and experience:<ul> <li>Bachelors/Masters in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field with 4-7 years of experience in data science</li> </ul> \nAbout UsPerched firmly at the nucleus of spellbinding content and innovative technology, JioStar is a leading global media & entertainment company that is reimagining the way audiences consume entertainment and sports.
