As part of this team, you’ll work at the intersection of creativity and technology — building end-to-end experiences, experimenting with emerging tech, and shaping the future of entertainment content. \n Key responsibilities:<ul> <li>Lead and scale the GenAI engineering team, responsible for developing and delivering high-quality features for AI content production</li> <li>Partner closely with Product, and Data Science teams to define and drive and deliver the tech roadmap items</li> <li>Design backend systems that scale across multiple frontier models</li> <li>Champion engineering excellence across observability, performance tuning, cost efficiency, and resilience engineering.</li> <li>Foster a high-ownership engineering culture focused on data-driven decision making, experimentation velocity, and customer-first thinking.</li> <li>Create effective mechanisms to set goals for the team, create execution plans and track progress against those. You'll collaborate with other Developers, Program Managers, and tech support teams, in an agile environment to estimate and deliver objectives set together as a team.</li> </ul> Skills and attributes for success:<ul> <li>Full stack expertise with solid experience with Python & JS frameworks like React or Next</li> <li>Hands-on architectural or distributed systems experience</li> <li>Experience with high scale databases - MySQL, NoSQL (Cassandra, Redis, DynamoDB)</li> <li>Experience with Google Cloud for production applications</li> <li>Experience with CI/CD processes</li> <li>A strong track record of project delivery for large, cross-functional, projects and bringing in and growing engineering talent</li> <li>Documented experience in using AI tools as part of daily work</li> <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information clearly and concisely to a variety of audiences</li> </ul> Preferred education and experience:<ul> <li>Bachelors/Masters in Computer Science or a related field with 8+ years of experience in software development and 3 years of experience in managing software development teams. </li> </ul> \nAbout UsPerched firmly at the nucleus of spellbinding content and innovative technology, JioStar is a leading global media & entertainment company that is reimagining the way audiences consume entertainment and sports.
