Inspect and troubleshoot automated conveyance and sortation.</li> <li>Conduct regular inspections of equipment to identify potential problems.</li> <li>Plan, schedule, and implement corrective actions using available tools and equipment.</li> <li>Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to track & complete work orders, log maintenance activities, and manage inventory of spare parts.</li> <li>Create maintenance schedules; generate, open and close work orders electronically.</li> <li>Conduct basic controls programming and troubleshoot PLCs and VFDs.</li> <li>Troubleshoot and analyze root cause for machine malfunctions to include proximity sensors and photoelectric sensors, conveyor motors, stretch wrappers, dock doors etc.</li> <li>Read and interpret schematic drawing for motor controls circuits.</li> <li>Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and control system issues to minimize downtime.</li> <li>Assist with the installation and commissioning of new equipment and systems.</li> <li>Collaborate with other maintenance technicians and departments to ensure efficient workflow and communication.</li> <li>Perform safety inspections on maintenance and production areas.</li> <li>Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees. (i.e. Lockout tagout and OSHA Standards)</li> <li>Provide training and guidance to junior maintenance staff.</li> <li>Clean and assist with upkeep of facilities.</li> </ul> Qualifications <ul> <li>Experience with Material Handling Equipment (MHE) safety standards in accordance with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and Safety standards.</li> <li>Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in a distribution or fulfillment center environment.</li> <li>Preferred: 3+ years experience with automated conveyor systems, maintenance apprenticeship, and repairing material handling equipment.</li> <li>Preferred: Technical certification and associate degree or higher in a related field.</li> <li>3+ years of experience with basic trades and troubleshooting electrical systems up to 480v.</li> <li>Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and control systems, including PLCs, VFDs, and HMIs.</li> <li>Must have outstanding attendance, and be able to work a flexible schedule.</li> <li>Must be organized and able to problem solve, multitask, and prioritize work.</li> <li>Ability to work independently and adapt to priority changes to maximize equipment availability</li> <li>Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment for troubleshooting and repairs.</li> <li>Experience with CMMS software for managing maintenance activities.</li> <li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and other departments.</li> <li>Previous experience operating PIT equipment (work at height expected).</li> </ul> Physical Demands<ul> <li>Able to stand/walk for up to 8-12 hours</li> <li>Able to push/pull, bend, lift, stretch and reach both below the waist and above the head</li> <li>Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces</li> <li>Ability to lift up to 50 lbs</li> </ul> Benefits<ul> <li>Medical PPO and HSA with employer match plan options</li> <li>Dental, Vision, STD, Supplemental Insurance plans</li> <li>Company Paid LTD and Life Insurance</li> <li>401K match - Match 100% up to 3% & Match 50% from 3.1% - 5%</li> <li>Potential for monthly team performance bonuses - up to $<a rel="noopener noreferrer" href="http://1.50/hr" class="postings-link">1.50/hr</a>.
