This role involves monitoring and maintaining process equipment to facilitate production. Monitor and operate a variety of machines throughout the shift. Assist with the movement of raw, WIP, and finished materials. Use the ERP system to execute assigned jobs and record/report production data and outcomes. Report mechanical and physical parts failures to the manager and maintenance department through work orders. Monitor product quality and ensure activities are performed to quality standards, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and work Instructions. Accurately report daily machine production. Read and interpret manufacturing orders to ensure the finished products meet specifications. Perform changeovers with Maintenance and Engineering teams. Work overtime as necessary to cover other shift operators and meet overall production demands. Physical Demands Ability to stand for prolonged periods of up to 6 hours a day. Ability to walk throughout the plant. Ability to bend at the waist. Ability to lift unassisted 50lbs and assist over 50lbs. Climbing stairs and ladders (1) limited Ability to wear PPE, which includes but is not limited to the following: eye and face protection, Hearing Protection, Respirators, and protective shoes and coverings. Must have 20/20 or corrected vision—ability to perform repetitive duties. Ability to work in an environment that may include exposure to noise, dust, and chemicals for extended periods of time.
