IMAGINE THE FUTURE AT ENVALIOR As EU Indirect Tax Manager , you are responsible for ensuring consistent, well-controlled EU VAT compliance across Envalior. You act as the primary point of responsibility for day-to-day EU VAT topics, supporting internal capabilities and reducing reliance on external advisors. You will also prepare the organization for digital VAT developments, including e-invoicing, real-time reporting, and automation initiatives. You will make an impact by: Managing EU indirect tax matters and taking ownership of VAT compliance across the organization Leading interactions with Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, IT, and external advisors on indirect tax topics Overseeing and steering indirect tax compliance activities, including review, filings, follow-ups, and issue resolution Leading or actively participating in projects impacting indirect tax, including system changes, digital reporting initiatives, and e-invoicing Using systems and data (e.g., SAP and reporting/analytics tools) to drive quality, transparency, and efficiency in indirect tax processes Identifying risks, escalating issues where necessary, and driving pragmatic process improvements THE IDEAL CANDIDATE Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Tax, Accounting, Finance, or Law 5–10 years of experience in indirect tax, preferably within a multinational environment Analytical mindset with the ability to work effectively across functions and cultures Affinity for technology and digital tools is an advantage Fluent in English ; additional European languages are a plus Experience coordinating with multiple stakeholders, including Finance teams, Tax Authorities, and external advisors Strong problem-solving skills and ability to ensure compliance across multiple EU entities in a complex regulatory landscape Working Relationships Internal: Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, IT External: Local EU finance teams, Tax Authorities, Genpact, EY Acts as the primary point of contact for indirect tax matters across all stakeholders Potential Challenges Managing indirect tax compliance across multiple EU entities while ensuring consistency across local teams with varying levels of expertise Driving automation initiatives with limited resources to reduce risk exposure, especially in light of advanced technology deployed by Tax Authorities
