Today we are looking for a Facility Technician who is motivated, detail-oriented, and ready to support our production and maintenance teams with expert electrical knowledge. Key Responsibilities: Monitor electrical systems and utilities to support energy efficiency and system reliability. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies. Coordinate work with contractors and vendors as directed. Respond to electrical issues, breakdowns, and emergency maintenance needs as required. Electrical distribution systems (panels, switchgear, transformers, UPS) Lighting systems, including interior, exterior, and emergency lighting HVAC electrical components and controls Compressed air systems (electrical support) Dust extraction and air filtration systems (electrical support, control cabinets) Fire protection and Life Safety Electrical Systems Material handling systems (conveyors, dock equipment) Security, access control, video surveillance and alarm systems Support for plumbing, water, and environmental systems as related to electrical controls Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required; technical or trade school certification preferred. Journeyman or equivalent electrical experience strongly preferred. Minimum of 3 years of industrial or facility electrical experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, controls, and safety standards. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Effective communication and time management skills.
