Job DescriptionAs a Senior Travel and Expense Accountant, Global Finance Operations, you will be responsible in processing the end-to-end Travel and Expense accounting process for the assigned region or entity on a timely and accurate manner that requires close coordination with employees, Global Travel Team, IT & Concur support, Local Finance Team and other Teams within Global Accounting Operations. You will ensure compliance with the Global Travel and Business Expense Policy, manage expense system administration, analyze spend data to identify cost-saving opportunities.Key Responsibilities and Role Accountabilities:Review and approve expense reports in compliance with Global Travel Policy, analyze expense data to identify trends, risks, and cost saving opportunitiesProvide guidance and assistance to employees in Concur system navigation, expense processing, and questions related to WD's Travel policy.Resolve fallouts from data interface between Concur and ERP systems (Oracle/SAP) in order to successfully process the payment to bank and employees.Prepare and submit Concur Accrual reports, perform Accounts Reconciliation for Concur related GL Accounts in accordance with WD's global standards.Provide support to Internal Audit, Payroll, Tax and other business units during the review and investigation of Concur related transactions.Compliance with Global Accounting Operations Accounts Payable KPIs and process metrics and support implementation of automated audit tools such as Concur Intelligent AuditConduct trainings sessions as needed and perform other duties as assigned.
