The Behavioral Care & Support Section conducts fitness for duty evaluations as well as ensures members of service are receiving the appropriate behavioral health services they require. The NYPD’s Behavior Care & Support Section is seeking qualified candidates to fill the role of Department Psychologist Level I. duties involve the following:- Conducting fitness for duty evaluations of police personnel (uniformed and civilian), case management, trauma debriefings, military debriefings, crisis intervention, and screening for undercover assignments.
