The Department of Design & Construction, Division of Infrastructure, is currently seeking Junior Engineers to join our Design Unit in various sections.Successful candidates will be provided with hands-on training and will contribute to a range of engineering tasks, from moderate to complex. Responsibilities include conducting research studies, engineering investigations, and assessments related to various engineering functions. Additionally, the candidates will carry out civil engineering tasks of moderate complexity under the supervision of an Engineer-In-Charge. The scope of work and training encompasses one or more of the following specialized areas: design, drafting, engineering investigations, cost estimation, specification writing, structural calculations, conducting field surveys, and participating in design-related site inspections.Please note: All candidates must be currently authorized to work full-time in the United States (U.S.). In compliance with Public Law 99-603, candidates are required to present original documents proving citizenship or the legal right to work in the U.S. DDC is unable to support or sponsor any visa application or visa extension, including but not limited to OPT/STEM visas, H-1B visas, F-1 practical training, permanent residence sponsorship, or any proposed change of visa type.
