As Egis accelerates the growth of its Water Business in the UK, we are building a high-performing Civil Engineering and Hydraulic Modelling team to help shape this next chapter.We are inviting expressions of interest from talented civil engineers and hydraulic modellers at all levels, from Consultant through to Associate Director, who want to play a meaningful role in delivering major water and wastewater programmes. Working within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment, you will contribute to technically robust, sustainable and innovative treatment solutions across nationally significant projects.This is a rare opportunity to join at a key stage of our UK growth journey, helping to establish, shape and expand a water hydraulic modelling capability built on Egis’ global infrastructure expertise and long-term commitment to the sector.Key ResponsibilitiesWork with our teams across the UK, Ireland and France to develop and deliver a range of hydraulic modelling services to our clientsProvide technical and expert advice to clients, manage and deliver projectsSupport business development opportunities, contribution to tenders and proposals,Develop and maintain relationships with clients, partners and stakeholdersCollaborate with wider Egis teams to develop market leading and innovative services to our clientsParticipate in industry events, seminars and conferences. Showcase Egis technical capability and project experience.Areas of Past ExperienceExperience developing, verifying/calibrating and checking 1D and 2D hydraulic modelsKnowledge of working with integrated models (network/open channel/surface) and modelling to support DAPsGood understanding of hydrological assessment and analysisFlood risk modelling, assessments and mappingInterest in and knowledge of water quality models, which could include physio-chemical, biological, bacterial or chemicalExperience using standard industry software in the UK e.g. InfoWorks ICM, Flood Modeller, HEC-RAS, TUFLOW, MIKE, Delft3D, SIMCATKey AttributesHands on, delivery and client focusedEnergised with a positive and strong work ethicExcellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skillsAbility to work in multi-disciplinary and remote teamsInnovative mindset, always looking to improve, automate, streamline, learn and develop
